12 Jan “The Old Bank”
First of all I would like to say Happy New Year!! 2017 has been a very interesting and productive year and I think it ended on a pretty amazing high… no pressure 2018.
Many people in and around Edinburgh know 2 Biggar Road as “the old bank”. A Royal Bank of Scotland to be exact. It had been a branch of RBS for many, many years. The bank closed its doors a couple of years ago and the building sat empty, needing love and attention. That’s where we came in! It has taken over a year of planning, meetings, designing and organising to get us to where we are today… in “the old bank”.
I thought I’d take this opportunity to showcase a few photos of when we were handed the keys to the building, right up to the day we opened. There was a LOT of work to be done to get this place up to scratch for the open day on the 21st of October, bearing in mind we only received the keys on the 4th of September and I still even managed to squeeze in a 10 day holiday to Turkey.. Sorry Charlene.
There were a lot of late nights, some tantrums and possibly a tear here and there but none of this would have been possible without the help from our family and friends. Thank you all so much.
We couldn’t have been happier with the turn out on the open day and the last couple of months have been better than we ever could have imagined for a new business so thank you to all of our amazing clients old and new for your support, loyalty and custom.
We hope to see you all in the new year and we have lots of fun and interesting things to offer for 2018 so keep your eyes peeled for our newsletters and Facebook page and if you didn’t already know we have a fantastic offer this January… Buy a treatment and receive another half price. No better way to beat the January blues.
Love and light
